Company Overview

A brief history of our company

Carlab, Inc. is a privately owned Civil Engineering firm and licensed Testing Laboratory located in Miami, Florida. Established in August 1986 by Sergio Labiste, Carlos Labiste and Sixto Labiste, Carlab, Inc. focuses on Land Development, Environmental, and Water Resources . We service both public and private sector clients taking projects from inception through design, permitting and construction. We implement strong project management and constructability in our designs that considers client budgets and schedule first. Our clients include Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Private Developers, General Contractors and Roof Contracting firms.

CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES

Sergio Labiste, P.E. has recently joined forces with Leo Garcia, P.E., in order to combine the experiences of civil engineering services and engineering testing services. Our new services will include, but not be limited to, performance of roof engineering tests: TAS 106 Tile Uplift Test and TAS 105 Fastener Withdrawal Tests, along with other engineering inspections and reports related to roofing. Leo brings to the firm his 14 years of experience in relation to testing as well as design. Carlab, Inc. will now provide civil engineering and testing services as required by Miami-Dade County.
